Think of building a house. You don't need to know how to lay bricks. You need to know what house you want. Claude Code is the builder. You tell it what you want.

See it
Close your eyes and picture the thing you want. What does it do? Who uses it? That picture is your plan.

Break it into steps
Big things are just small steps in a row. “People sign up. They get an email. I see them on a list.” That's three steps.

Tell Claude Code
Type each step to Claude Code like you'd tell a person. No special words. It writes the code for you.

Stuck? Ask Claude
Don't know a word? Something broke? Just ask. “What does this mean?” “Why didn't that work?” Claude explains it.
“Make me a sign-up page for my newsletter. When someone signs up, save their email and send them a thank-you email. Show me a list of everyone who signed up.”
